The Seven Dimensions of ChangeFit®

At the heart of the ChangeFit® model are seven interconnected dimensions that together form the DNA of a ChangeFit® organisation:

  1. Maturity - the ability to anticipate, absorb, and adapt to change without losing momentum or burning out.
  2. Leadership - shared responsibility for guiding, modelling, and sponsoring change.
  3. Technical - the frameworks, tools, and processes that make change transparent and effective.
  4. Psychological - the resilience, safety, and human insight that allow people to navigate uncertainty.
  5. Behavioural - the actions, habits, and accountability that sustain change in daily practice.
  6. Governance - the oversight that balances strategic objectives with implementation reality whilst also considering ambition with capacity.
  7. People & Culture - the shared values and principles that make change part of “how we do what we do.”

Each dimension is vital on its own, but the real power lies in their integration. Weakness in one undermines the others. Strength across all seven creates resilience, agility, and a culture where change is not feared, but embraced.

Change is everyone’s responsibility

ChangeFit® also makes one principal crystal clear: Change is everyone’s responsibility, and everyone has a role to play.

  • Executives must set the vision, sponsor visibly, and create the conditions for success.
  • Leaders at all levels must translate strategy and the related changes into practice, inspire their teams, and role-model behaviours and adaptability.
  • Employees must take ownership of their own role in change, supporting themselves and their colleagues to embed new ways of working.
  • Change Practitioners facilitate change, engaging with all levels of the organisation, supporting leaders to define, design and deliver strategic change
